Sophie can stand on her own for short periods of time and walks while holding on to a toy or Mommy & Daddy's hands.New this month - Nearly 8 teeth! She's got 4 on the top, 3 and a half on the bottom - with one more ready to pop through.
She's thisclose to walking. We are waiting for the day that she just stands up and walks across the room.
She is saying "mama" and "dada" and there is some speculation as to whether or not "up" is her first real word - she even uses it in context! It's so cool to see the wheels turning in her head when she learns something new. Everday is something different.
She's kinda sorta starting to wave and by that I mean that she does it totally at random. She'll just smile at you when you wave to her, but she'll be sitting quietly playing and suddenly turn and look at you and wave. It's hilarious.
She loves to feed herself and is all about finger foods. Cheerios are a new favorite. She even feeds them to Mommy and Daddy.
She still loves bunnies and if you ask her what a bunny does, she will hop up and down to show you. I need to get that on video..
I still can't believe that in just under a month, she will be a year old.

Oh my! The pictures are so very cute (of course!). You really captured her doing her favorite things. She really does take in everything, and came mimic very quickly (especially when it involves opening and closing something). Luv ya Sophie!
